The Secret to Fixing Lower Back Pain (It’s in Your Hips!)

Lower back pain? You might be stretching the wrong area. The real culprit? Tight hip flexors.
Your hip flexors connect your lower body to your core, and when they become tight, they pull on your pelvis—forcing your lower back into an unnatural position. This leads to discomfort, tension, and even chronic pain.
Fix It with This Hip Flexor Release Stretch
Step into a half-kneeling lunge (back knee on the ground).
Tuck your pelvis under slightly—like a mini crunch.
Shift forward gently until you feel a stretch in the front of your hip.
Hold for 20–30 seconds, then switch sides.
Consistency is Key!
One stretch won’t magically fix your back pain overnight, but regular mobility work will make a huge difference.
